Antonio Farina, MD
I am a neurologist and research fellow in the French Reference Center of Paraneoplastic Neurological Syndromes and Autoimmune Encephalitis, where I am developing my PhD thesis project, centered on the emerging spectrum of neurological side effects of immune checkpoint inhibitors.
During my neurology residency training program in Italy, I spent six months at the French Reference Center where I had a very formative clinical observational experience; here, I was involved in exciting research projects in the field of neurological side effects of immune checkpoint inhibitors, paraneoplastic neurological syndromes, and autoimmune epilepsy. It was a pleasure to share this learning experience with the team, so I decided to come back to develop my PhD thesis project.
